Romans 8:37 – Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
In your Christian walk, are you a victim or a victor? Do you let the world beat you up, make you feel defeated, get stressed, feel burnt-out, often have regret or feel anxious, or feel inferior or like a loser? You don’t have to; keep reading to find out how be victorious.
Romans 8:31 – What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
God says we are victors, and victorious! Just the fact that we’re redeemed and bound for glory is the greatest victory! However, God wants us to not only feel victorious but be victorious in this world on this side of eternity. And this we do through the faith of Jesus Christ.
2 Corinthians 2:14 – Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.
We are truly victorious each day that we walk in the light received through Scripture, prayer, and being led by the Holy Spirit. You see, victory comes in our spiritual walk; in our mind, which then spills out and overflows the temporal world.
Whether or not we achieve our worldly goals/desires/accomplishments is secondary and up to God. I’d rather concentrate on being a victorious believer and leave the temporal results up to God:
Matthew 6:33 – But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Are you overcome or do you overcome? Are you overcome by the world, others, circumstances, your flesh, etc? You need not be! You can overcome by faith!
1 John 5:4 – For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.
Scripture says that we overcome by being faithful and walking in the light received from our Scripture study and prayer.
It’s available for every believer. So put on mind of Christ and walk victoriously!
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
